Polling stations opened for General Elections in the Dominican Republic

Voting opened at 7 AM Sunday, Local Time, and will extend until 5 PM. A total of 8,145,548 Dominicans will be able to exercise their right to vote in16,747 polling stations, distributed in more than 4,000 precincts throughout the country. teleSUR
